I was unaware of the 2015 - 2016 change in the Sierra 1500. Will the below fit my vehicle? e98958 thx.

Hey Richard! Yes, the etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit # e98958 will fit your 2016 Sierra 1500. The same is true for the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit # RM-15267 and Roadmaster Battery Disconnect # RM93MR you ordered.
Did you want a brake controller for your truck for trailer towing? The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED26CR is designed to activate trailer brakes but will not work for flat towing. If you need a brake system I recommend the Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo # DM86VR.

Hey Richard, how did everything go with the base plate kit on your 2016 Sierra 1500? Did the wiring kit and battery disconnect work smoothly together? Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up a similar flat tow.
