60 inch or 40 inch Tall CE Smith Guide Ons for Cobalt 246

Question:
With your upright trailer guides....what size boat do you consider a big boat? I own a Cobalt 246 on a factory trailer. I am torn between a 40 and a 60. Thank you very much.

Hey Jack, I looked up your Cobalt 246 and I would say it's large enough that you would want the 60 inch guide ons like the part # CE27646 that you referenced. You can also go out to your trailer and measure 40 and 60 inches up from the frame to get an idea how tall both would be so that you can decide which would work best. I would assume the 40 inch guides wouldn't be tall enough.

Hey Jack, how did things turn out with the 60-inch upright trailer guides for your Cobalt 246? Did the extra height give you the visibility you were hoping for when loading the boat? Your update could make it easier for others choosing between the two sizes.
