Hello Gary,
My Mother told me to never assume, but my Mother isn't here right now, so I am going to assume that you are looking for a hitch for the 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD short bed with OEM Prep Package that we have previously talked about.
We discussed the sliding hitches before, but since you have the Road Armor pivoting Head now, you will want a stationary 5th wheel hitch instead since you cannot have 2 moving parts, and the Road Armor will now give you the clearance needed for those sharp turns.
When it comes to the hitches I have a favorite and it is B&W all day long! They are made right here in the USA, their quality sets them apart from all the others, and their customer service is something the other companies do not even come close to. With that said, I would go with the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # BWRVK3710.
You will want to pair that hitch with the 5th Airborne Custom Wedge for B&W Fifth Wheels # SWW-06.
