Troubleshooting a Light Not Brightening on a Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards

Question:

I bought my wife a set of Aries power steps for her 2024 Jeep Wrangler JL...after installing the passenger side light stays on at a dull glow. The light does NOT increase in brightness when the steps are lowered. I tried a different control box and that didnt help. I switched the drivers side bulb with the passenger side bulb and the same passenger side of the jeep bulb stayed on at a dull glow while the drivers side remained working as it should...which makes me thing this is not a bulb issue...any suggestions...

Hey Richard. Have you checked the voltage leading up to the LED light on the passenger side and compared it to the driver's side on the Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards with Custom Installation Kit item # AA63DQ? It sounds like you've got a wiring issue that's just affecting the lights.

Hey Richard, did you have a chance to check the voltage on the passenger side LED light like I suggested? I'm asking because I'd like to continue assisting you with this issue.
