Looking to convert from drums to disk brakes on my 2023 grand design 380fl with 8k axles and curious what you suggest. Thanks for your help!

Hey Dusty, we have all of the parts needed to convert an 8k trailer axle like your Grand Design to disc brakes but we don't have it as a single part number like we do with some of the other axle capacities. So the best actuator is the Hydrastar as we have found that they are by far the most reliable and quickest reacting. For that you'd want the Hydrastar kit part # HS481-8067 which also comes with the breakaway kit, battery and wiring needed. Then you'll need the brake line kit part # HS496-252.
Then for the actual axle brake components you'd want the Kodiak Kit part # K2HR89DD which is Dacromet coated to prevent corrosion and has the 8 lug bolt pattern you'd need as well. What don't you care for about the drum brakes?
