Question:
My main concern is safety. How do I vent this properly so I’m not at risk of carbon monoxide inside my ProMaster motorhome?

Linda, that’s the right question to ask. The Velit gas RV heater # VE46QV and the diesel version # VE66QV are designed as sealed combustion heaters, and the intake and exhaust for combustion are routed outside the van via stainless corrugated pipes. The manual stresses making sure the exhaust port points downward at 90° and at least 4 feet from any windows.
They also both have a carbon monoxide sensor that if anything dangerous is detected, it will automatically shut the heater down.
Are you doing the install yourself, or having a shop do it?
Other ProMaster folks, any install tips for routing the exhaust cleanly?
