Paula, the Velit 3000R models like # VE29QV are a bit louder, but still not very loud. Eco mode runs at 55 dB, Boost tops out at 65 dB. That’s the difference between a quiet home and a normal conversation. Still quieter than many rooftop ACs, but not as whisper-soft as the smaller 2000R units like the mini # VE69QV which runs off 12v instead of 48v.
Do you usually sleep light or does steady white noise help you?
