Question:
What’s the power draw in Eco mode vs Boost mode? wondering how efficient it will be at 10,000 btu and how long it lasts on batteries alone. thanks.

Jordan, The Velit 2000R RV AC kit # VE99QV has an Eco mode that consumes just 250–300 watts, and Boost mode consumes 400–650 watts. That range makes it very manageable for off-grid use, especially when used with solar setups. Compare that to a 13.5k BTU RV AC pulling 1,500–2,000 watts, you’ll see why vanlifers like these. And you will still get plenty of cold air moving through.
With a battery bank of 4 12v 100ah batteries as an example, you can expect around 4-10 hours on boost mode depending on battery type, or around 9-15 hours on eco mode depending on battery type (lithium will give more run time)
What size solar panel are you running now, if you are using any?
