How Does Trailer Mate 2023 Crosstrek Hitch Hold Up In Minnesota Winters With Road Salt?

I’m worried about rust since I drive in Minnesota winters. How does this Trailer Mate hold up to road salt? It's a non hybrid 2023 crosstrek, just straight gas and it's the base model I think.

Lindsey, good thinking ahead. This hitch # TMT94FR from Trailer Mate has a dual coating powder coat on top of a liquid A-coat that seals inside and out. That layered protection holds up well to winter salt. As with any hitch, it’s smart to rinse it off when you can and touch up scratches with flat black spray paint if it ever gets scraped.
