Are Replacement Rubber Pads Covered Under Warranty for LockRack Carriers?

Updated 09/13/2025 | Published 08/16/2025

Question:

Hello! I have a lock rack system on my car for my surfboard. After a recent storm, the two rubber pieces that sits on top of the rack went missing. I was wondering if there’s a replacement option or warranty coverage for this part. Thank you!

Hey Natalia,

Sorry to hear about your LockRack Carrier # LR59FR losing some rubber pieces!

To replace the rubber pieces you'll need the LockRack Replacement Rubber for 15-7/8" Base # LR78FR - 1 for each base. The warranty will only cover defects in the system and unfortunately won't cover lost or stolen parts.

It must have been a pretty crazy storm! I've messed with these before and the rubber strips sit in there pretty snug!

Hey Natalia, did you get a chance to try the replacement rubber pieces for your LockRack system? I'm curious to know if they worked well for you, as it could help others who might face a similar situation.
