Question:
Good day, I have a boat trailer that has surge brakes. I need to have the 7pin connector installed in order to move the trailer. Or it will lock the brakes. I do not see that this has an adaptor for the 7pin. I am assuming this may not work with my trailer. Thank you

Hey Darin. You are correct, the Trailer Valet RVR9 Remote-Controlled Trailer Dolly item # TVRVR9 does not have a 7-way connector on it.
What specific brake actuator do you have on your trailer? Can you pull forward without locking up the brakes? It sounds like you need a manual lockout or a Reverse Lockout Solenoid like item # DM11993.

Correct, No movement can be accomplished ( forward or reverse ) without the brakes locking up. I’ll take a look at this lockout mechanism. Thank you for your help
