Question:
We do a lot of trips above 9,000 feet in Colorado. Which heater will actually work at elevation? I've had a generator power a heater and the generator does ok with the high elevation kit, but I'd rather switch to something else that doesn't need a generator.

All three models are altitude-ready out of the box. The Air 2D # AU56MR is calibrated for up to 9,800’, while the Air 4D # AU96MR and portable Travelbox # AU36MR both go up to 13,700’ with no tuning or add-ons needed.
If you’re regularly around 10k or more, go with the Air 4D or Travelbox. They’ll run cleaner and cycle less often at elevation.
What type of vehicle or camper are you using? This will also help determine which kit to use.
