Question:
Hello I am considering purchasing the Kodiak brake kit KOD49FR. My question is the oil bath housing is push on and not threaded. Do you have threaded models? I am concerned it is not as secure as a threaded one. Your expert opinion would be appreciated. Thank you

Hey Scott, thanks for reaching out. I see you already ordered the # KOD49FR kit, but I still wanted to reply and address your concern. The oil caps that come with this kit are drive-in. These things are machined down to the thousandth of an inch, so they are quite secure. We do not see issues with them falling out unexpectedly. The only way this could happen is if your hubs are damaged or excessively worn. With new hubs this will not be a problem.
Please let me know if there is anything else you need.
