Will Swagman EXO Kayak Carrier Leave Marks on Kayak

Question:
...do the rubber pads on the saddles ever heat up in hot weather and then transfer black marks to the bottom of a fiberglass kayak...I have had several mounts for my two 17-foot expedition kayaks that have left marks on the bottoms of my kayaks when the temperatures get hot and the kayaks are sitting in the mounts for long periods of time during travel...or are you using some special type of material to prevent that from happening...thanks...

Hey Greg, we've sold quite a few of the Swagman Exo Aero Rooftop Kayak Roof Rack # S65145 and haven't gotten any feedback that it was leaving marks like some of the other carriers do so I'd feel pretty confident it wouldn't leave any marks at all.
