Stealth Hitch and Wiring for 2022 BMW X7 With 8SL Wiring

Hello! I am looking into purchasing a stealth hitch with tow option for my 22 BMW X7. However, I am unsure which option is best to buy, as I am uncertain whether my vehicle has the 8SL wiring option. If I provide my VIN, can you help me determine if the 8SL is equipped on my X7 and ultimately determine which kit is best suited for my vehicle? Thank you!

Hi Miguel; I do not have a way to identify if your 2022 BMW X7 has the 8SL wiring option using your VIN. I will say that there are no aftermarket wiring harnesses designed to fit that factory wiring port if you have it. The only option is to go with the OEM trailer wiring if you have the pre-wiring and want to use it.
I'm assuming you figured this out, or found out you don't have the 8SL option, since you picked up with # SH32VR along with the # 119250KIT. The Stealth Hitch with the towing kit does come with a wiring harness already so the # 119250KIT isn't necessary unless you want to avoid splicing. This setup will work even if you do find you have the 8SL wiring but it won't be able to tie into any factory towing systems.
