Availability of 3,500 lb Trailer Axle Spindle

Question:

Do you offer a replacement spindle for a torsion axle with hydraulic brakes. My customer had a bearing issue and damaged the spindle on his 2 axle pontoon trailer. These are 3500K axles. Might replace with new axle and go to electric brake if I can sorce the parts. Thanks, DP

Hey Dave, we have 3,500 lb trailer axle spindles like with the part # TRU74FR if you wanted one with a brake flange attached to it already.

Hey Dave, did you decide to go with the replacement spindle or are you considering switching to electric brakes for your pontoon trailer? I'm curious to know how it worked out for you, as it might help others in a similar situation.

@JamesonC Thanks for the question James, after much searching and finding little information on those hydraulic brakes spindle, parts , hub kits etc i decided to weld the spindle using Tig process and stainless steel filler rod. Once I got the spindle repairs completed I used an a few different air sanders to perfectly hand machine that spindle back to OEM spec. I purchased some bearing @ TSC tha were close and made them work also. Just another big pain in the butt overall but my customer was so happy and all worked out good. Thanks, DP
