Question:
We have a 2020 Forest River Berkshire xlt. Our RV has a Samsung fridge, Aqua-Hot system, 2 AC units, and a 4-battery bank. Can the QD 6000 run all this while recharging?

Expert Reply:
Daryl and Jess, you’re pushing the upper limit. If both ACs are cycling and the Aqua-Hot’s electric heating element is engaged, the QD 6000w generator from Cummins/Onan # CM94RR will be working hard but it should be able to keep up.
It’s better to stagger usage of high amperage electronics, or upgrade to the Onan QD 8000w # CM44RR to give yourself more overhead. That said, if you manage your loads carefully, the 6000W model will run a residential fridge, 1 AC unit, and charge your batteries via a converter or inverter-charger without issue.
