Almost. You’ll use the included hex wrench to tighten the clamps. Brandon in Ann Arbor said he takes his RodVault 4 Pole Carrier # TH34FR55YR on and off between trips and says it takes less than 10 minutes. No drill needed, and no ladder needed unless your vehicle’s roof is extra tall.
I attached an image that shows this install process. Basically you pull the strap around the crossbars and then use the hex wrench to tighten it all the way. That's it!
