Question:
We have a customer that is wanting to upgrade his 2000W inverter to a 3000W inverter and he is wanting to replace his 4 gel batteries to Lithium. His goal is to run his Belaire 3400 roof top A/C off the battery bank. Is this possible?

Hi Alycia; they can add a 3,000W inverter like # 34280178 but it isn't going to work the way your customer wants it to. The power draw from an AC is too much, and will drain the batteries in a very short amount of time. They could get away with doing something like I do and run the fan on it but actual consistent, long term cooling won't be happening. The best way to use the AC without shore power is to add a generator like # 333-0005 or # CM32ZR which will allow them to keep it running.
