Can I Wire ILL85CB Into A Dimming Rocker Switch?

I am using this step light as a porch light on a tiny vintage egg camper rehab. 1 I saw you posted a rocker switch will work. But will a dimmable rocker switch also work? 2 what is the wire awg size of the pigtails? Thanks.

Hey June,
You could absolutely wire it into a dimmer switch like # 37212275. That is something you would wire to the power or ground wire of your porch light. I reached out to the manufacturer about the wire size, but have not heart back. Most commonly wire sizes for a light like that are between 14 and 18 awg. That is most commonly found for RV lighting like that.
How has it been working out as a porch light? That is pretty unique application.
