Can A Second 7-Way Be Added To The Bed Of A 2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD Classic

Question:
I am looking for a 7 pole trailer plug that has the cable come out at 90 degrees from the socket. My truck has 7 pole socket near the tailgate. My camper is the full width of the tailgate and hits a standard plug. It might be possible to add a second socket in front of the wheel well but I dont know if it is ok to daisy chain such extended sockets at the wiring harness. GMC Serra 2500HD 2007 Classic.

Hi Jim!
Adding the Bargman 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Plug - GM, Ford, Ram, Toyota # 50-97-410 to your 2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD Classic will cause absolutely no issues. I will say that what you are doing isn't a very common thing to do, but it won't hurt anything. Just be aware, as I am sure you already are, you can only use one plug at a time.
Out of curiosity, what kind of camper is it? Haven't heard of this issue before.

Hi Jim, I'm curious, did the 90-degree wiring harness solve the issue with your camper hitting the standard plug? I'm asking because I'd love to know how it worked out for you and if it might help others facing a similar challenge.
