Can A Second 7-Way Be Added To The Bed Of A 2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD Classic

Question:
I am looking for a 7 pole trailer plug that has the cable come out at 90 degrees from the socket. My truck has 7 pole socket near the tailgate. My camper is the full width of the tailgate and hits a standard plug. It might be possible to add a second socket in front of the wheel well but I dont know if it is ok to daisy chain such extended sockets at the wiring harness. GMC Serra 2500HD 2007 Classic.

Hi Jim!
Adding the Bargman 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Plug - GM, Ford, Ram, Toyota # 50-97-410 to your 2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD Classic will cause absolutely no issues. I will say that what you are doing isn't a very common thing to do, but it won't hurt anything. Just be aware, as I am sure you already are, you can only use one plug at a time.
Out of curiosity, what kind of camper is it? Haven't heard of this issue before.
