Can Furrion Chill Cube Be Adapted To Use With Dometic AC System?

Question:
I have a Open Range OT328BHS one of the current a/c units quit Saturday it was a Dometic Blizzard II 15k BTU I believe,I purchased a Furrion Chill Cube 18k BTU Ducted unit do I need to buy the wiring conversion plug to convert it over to Furrion or is the current Dometic setup compatible with it? Thank you.

Hey Ben, thanks for reaching out. It is possible to use the Furrion Chill Cube AC unit on your Open Range OT328BHS, but there is no wiring conversion for this. The Chill Cube can only be used with other Chill Cube parts, and it cannot work with a Dometic AC system. So the only way to guarantee everything will intercommunicate correctly will be for you to switch out your distribution box and thermostat as well.
