Hey Jim,
When tightening that 1/2" swivel connector while replacing the hot and cold water lines you are going to want to hand tighten them down first. It is then recommended to take a wrench to tighten it and additional 1/4" after hand tight to get it snug by feel. That 1/4" additional turn is going to keep you from over tightening and potentially damaging the connector.
What rig are you replacing those lines on?

Hey Jim, Did you have a chance to try tightening the connector with the additional 1/4 turn? I'm curious if it worked well for your setup, as it might help others with similar installations.
