Question:

Hello, I have a swagman bike rack , Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2 Hitches - Frame Mount. I need about 2 of clearance between the rack and my spare tire on bumper. Is it advisable and will it not compromise the integrity of the hitch or rack if I add an extension to the to the hitch? do you carry and such product? thanks

We sure do Ron. I checked with Swagman and you can use a 2" hitch extender with the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack item # S94FR. The shortest 2" extension we carry is the 7-1/2" long item # Y69VR.

Please note that using a hitch extender like the Yakima item # Y69VR will reduce your vehicle's hitch's capacity by 50%. What vehicle are you using to transport your bike rack?
