Are the Hitch Balls Removable on the Aluma-Tow 360 Ball Mount?

Question:

It appears from one photo that the balls are removable. Can the hitch be used with just one ball attached, so that there is more ground clearance when stowed?

They sure can Clay. The hitch balls on the Aluma-Tow 360 Adjustable 2-Ball Mount item # UR45PR are completely independent from each other. This means you can keep both installed or just the one you're using.

The Aluma-Tow 360 item # UR45PR fits a 2" receiver and has a 10,000 lbs capacity with the 2" ball and a 15,000 lbs capacity with the 2-5/16" hitch ball. It has a maximum drop of 7" and a maximum rise of 6". You can change the ball height in 1-1/4" increments without tools.

The Flip and Stow feature allows you to rotate the hitch under your bumper so you don't destroy your shins or back into things with the ball mount installed.
