Will Curt X5 5th-Wheel Base Rail Adapter Plate C16220 Work With Draw-Tite Gooseneck?

I believe my truck has the draw tire turnover gooseneck ball. It is only a single latch. Will this curt in fifth wheel rails plate work with this style gooseneck or will I have to change out the current gooseneck system? Thank you!

Hello Kole, thanks for reaching out. The Curt X5 5th-Wheel Base Rail Adapter Plate # C16220 can work with other brands of gooseneck ball, but it all comes down to how your gooseneck ball attaches to the truck.
The adapter plate will only work with a drop in gooseneck ball with a release handle near the wheel well. It will not work with the flip-over style gooseneck balls, or those with a latch built into the top of the ball. It must have a handle release in the wheel well area, like the Curt # C611-624 for example.
If this is not what you have, the best way to hook up to a 5th wheel would be with the following:
