Question:
Im interested in the e45VV boat winch. Does the strap need to match the weight rating? What strap would you suggest?

Hey Luc! The Boat Trailer Winch # e45VV actually comes with a strap already. It is a 2" wide x 23' long strap rated to match the capacity of the winch. The weight rating of the strap should always match the winch or be higher. Keep in mind, if you have a higher rated strap the winch itself will still have a capacity of 1,000 lbs. If you have any other questions feel free to reply below.
