Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at the CE Smith stainless steel U-bolt. Now, this heavy-duty, multipurpose U-bolt is intended for use on trailers to help secure brackets, mounts, and cargo to your trailer frame. This is made in the USA of stainless steel construction, making it sturdy and resistant to corrosion. It's gonna be ideal for marine applications.
This includes one U-bolt, two washers, and two nylon lock nuts. And let me go ahead and give you some dimensions of this U-bolt. The inside, we're gonna be measuring the inside dimensions of the U-bolt. Looking at the length first, we are sitting right at three inches long. And looking at that inside width, we are sitting right at four and one, let me line that up a little better.
4 1/8 inches wide on that internal width. And the diameter is 7/16 of an inch. And then looking at how long the threaded section is, we are sitting right at two inches. And that's going to be 14 threads per inch. And it is important to apply grease to the threads before assembling stainless steel hardware to reduce the risk of nut seizure.
Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
