Hey Gabe,
The great thing about the Yakima MegaWarrior, # Y07080, is that it will fit any round, square, aero or elliptical crossbar. If you already have any of those on your vehicle this is going to work out great for you. I checked with Yakima as well, if your vehicle has a factory rack with factory crossbars this will work for you.
If your vehicle is not equipped with a roof rack yet, a great option for your 2001 Toyota 4 runner is # Y23MB if you have a naked roof. If you have factory installed tracks on that vehicle then you could go with # Y99GB.
What kind of crossbars, if any, do you have on your 4 runner?
