Question:
Hello. My 03 F350 long bed CC was stolen, and the bed removed, along with the TracRac bed rails. I got it back a week later, but insurance wouldnt cover extra equipment . I cant afford $500 for the aluminum extrusions: or, actually, that much for the extrusions is too dang freaking much.! Is there an alternative, or am I S O L? Thanks, when I turned 80 2 weeks ago, I became a cheapskate. Or maybe it wuz Trumps tariffs? Anyway, as stated, Thanks!

Hi David! Did they really steal your truck and remove the bed again?! Or are you still recovering from 5 years ago? Unfortunately, replacing them with the Base Rails for Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Racks # TH21010 is still the only solution if you want to use this rack. The only alternative would be to put on a less expensive ladder rack like the # FHG64ZR. Hopefully it doesn't happen anymore but if it does at least they aren't walking off with the more expensive Thule rails/rack!

Hi David, did you decide to go with the less expensive ladder rack option, or are you still considering the Thule rails? I'm curious because your experience might help others facing a similar situation.
