Question:

I have a 2019 Dodge promaster city van and want to make sure this hitch, etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2 Part Number: e96YR, will fit. Also, do I need to get an optional wire harness for the lights? Thanks,

Hey Dave, thanks for reaching out!

Yes, the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e96YR will fit perfectly on your 2019 Ram ProMaster City. We actually have an installation video and some photos (which I'm linking to this page) of this hitch on a 2018 ProMaster City that you can reference.

If you plan on eventually using the hitch for towing a trailer, or you have an accessory that requires lights, then I highly recommend installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56270 at this time and securing the 4-Way connector near your hitch receiver using the Brackets # 18144 and # 18136.

Adding the wiring now just means you're doing the work in advance so that when you do need to utilize wiring it's already ready to go!

Are you planning on eventually doing some towing, and do you already have a ball mount?
