If the trailer is connected to the vehicle when this happens, it means "NO CONNECTION BETWEEN BRAKE CONTROL AND BRAKES - BLUE WIRE CIRCUIT", possible solution is "CONFIRM CONNECTION TO TRAILER CONNECTOR, CONFIRM CONNECTOR TERMINAL POSITIONS, CHECK TRAILER". In other words, there is possibly a connection issue somewhere between the brake controller and the trailer's brakes, which is all along the blue wire.
If the trailer is NOT connected to the vehicle when this happens, it means "RED WIRE CONNECTED TO THE WRONG SIDE OF THE STOPLIGHT SWITCH OR TO WRONG SWITCH (CRUISE CONTROL)", possible solution is "CHECK AND REPAIR CONNECTIONS REFER TO "WIRING" SECTION". In other words, the red wire on the brake controller that connects to the brake switch is not hooked up properly.
