Can SoftStartRV Soft Start for Single Zone Air Conditioner Setup # SSR54FR be Used with 8k BTU AC

Question:
I have a question about the SoftStartRV Soft Start for Single Zone Air Conditioner Setup. I have a very small AC unit in my 16 trailer. I want to install a 2K inverter with appropriate batteries. My AC is a Furrion CHILL FACR08HESA2-BL 8K BTU. Some of the electrial specs are Volts/Frequency 115V/60Hz/1Ph Power Watts Cooling 932 Watts Amps Cooling 8.2A. Is my unit to small for the SoftStartRV? or in other words would the SoftStartRV cause any issues with my AC? Most AC units that Ive seen for sale online are closer to 13K BTU+. I just dont want to accidently blow my AC. Thankyou for your time.

Hey Jacob, the SoftStartRV Soft Start for Single Zone Air Conditioner Setup # SSR54FR will work just fine with 8k BTU AC units like you have. It would not cause any damage to any components. There isn't a minimum BTU unit that this needs to work with so you'd have no problems.
