Is There a GasStop Piece for After the Propane Regulator?

Updated 05/06/2025 | Published 04/17/2025

Question:

I was looking to add a GasStop to my RV. I have dual tanks with a regulator change over valve. The GasStop connects directly to the tank. So the fitting wouldnt work with the regulator. Is there a fitting set up to allow the GasStop connection after the regulator?

Hey Ed, thanks for reaching out!

Why wouldn't the GasStop # GS89FR work for your fittings? This connects directly to the propane tank and then provides a connection for your pigtail to your regulator.

They don't have a GasStop for after the regulator because these are designed to stop a leak at the source - right where the valve is.

We do have another kit as part # GS99FR that has pigtails set up with connections for the propane tanks and to the regulator, if you'd rather swap out your whole setup for this.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Jon- the problem is that two GasStop connections won’t fit under my dual propane tank cover. This is why I was looking to connect after the regulator in the space between and below.

@EdG I see. Would the Kit # GS99FR work instead since it has 90-degree pigtails? You might be able to wrap it back around the top of the tank and over to the regulator.
