Hello Brian, thanks for reaching out. Sounds like you are looking for a trailer hitch for a 2024 Volkswagen ID 4. The best hitch for that is the Curt Class 3 Hitch # C47JR. This has a 2" receiver and a 3,000 lb towing capacity.
If you intend to tow a trailer you will also need the # C59236 wiring harness, and the # e66PR ball mount.
