Can Curt Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box Be Used With Andersen Ultimate Hitch?

I have a 2024 Alliance 29RL. Im looking at putting a Flex Air 18000 on it. My question is, can I use this with a Anderson Ultimate Hitch?

Hello, and thanks for getting in touch. Yes, you can use the Curt Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box - Lippert 1621 - 18,000 lbs # LC328492 with the Andersen Ultimate 5th wheel connection, but you will need to use a lockout kit. We have run this question by Andersen in the past and they have given the OK to use with the Flex Air as long as the lockout kit is used. We do not carry the lockout kit here but you can get one from Andersen.

@DonaldA The Flex Air pin box is part # LC328492. This is the 18K that replaces the Lippert 1621 pin box. I would ask you to confirm that your camper is currently equipped with a Lippert 1621 since the replacements are model specific.
