2000 Watt Inverter for 2024 Brinkley Z3400

Question:

Looking to install an inverter in my 2024 Brinkley Z3400. Thinking a 2000 watt one. What do you recommend and what will I need? Says its prewired at the factory

Hey Tom, yeah a 2,000 watt inverter like the Progressive Dynamics part # PD64FR would be a really great option for your 2024 Brinkley Z3400. Your camper is prewired for an inverter like this so all you need is PD64FR and you'd have everything you'd need to install it.

Will I need a subpanel with this inverter? The RV has a Furrion 50A MPPT solar charge controller installed

@JamesonC I have a similar setup possibly as this. I have a 2025 Grand Design Imagine XLS 22MLE that came pre wired with inverter prep. I also have a solar controller. What would the sub panel you mentioned in the previous answer be for? How would that be wired?

@BrianT A sub panel is for distributing more power to different circuits. Think of it as just like an additional circuit breaker box to power more circuits if they are needed.
