Looking For Replacement Motor For Ventline Range Hood In 1995 Mobile Home

Question:
I have a ventline 42 range hood that came with my 1995 mobile home. The motor needs to be replaced. I see you have motors listed but how to tell if the motors are the same and would fit my hood ? I cant find any hood model number. Thaks

Hello Bob, thanks for reaching out. I was not able to find any references for the Ventline model 42 so there is no way for me to look up exactly what motor you need. We would need a model number to be sure. It sounds like you may be needing the Replacement Fan Motor for Ventline Range Hoods # BVD0278-00. This works for many of the Ventline range hoods, including the older models.
Compare the picture below to your current motor. As long as it looks the same, has the same 3 wires and the 0.214" motor shaft diameter it should still work for you.

Hey Bob, did the replacement fan motor end up matching your Ventline 42 range hood? Knowing if the wiring and shaft size lined up could really help others with older hoods. Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same issue.
