Question:
Dear Sir or Madam: I am interested in the Malone MicroSport Trailer for 2 Fat Bikes and 2 Kayaks - 800 lbs, Part Number: MPG461KB. But I need something that will collapse to no more than 40 inches wide, so I can get through a gate. Does this product do that? Thank you.

Hey Pamela, thanks for reaching out!
All of our trailers, including the Malone MicroSport Trailer for 2 Fat Bikes and 2 Kayaks # MPG461KB, will be more than 40" wide even if you removed the crossbars.
If you let me know what vehicle you plan on using for the hauling I can see if there are any roof rack options that would allow you to load the bikes on the roof, and then we can get you squared away with a hitch bike rack, so everything is attached directly to your vehicle.
Let me know and I'll be more than happy to help out!

Thank you so much for the information. We have tired carrying bicycle and kayaks on the roof of our SUV but getting them up there is getting to be too much for us senior citizens. We are still interested in the trailer and will look into storage options for when it is not in use.
