Question:

Do you carry a 2 1/2 to 2 1/2 hitch extension, preferably 12 long? I have a short tongue trailer with spare mounted on the front and need to increase the distance between my 2500HD and the trailer. Thanks.

Hi Daniel; all of the hitch extenders that fit a 2-1/2" hitch reduce the other end down to 2" and are either 7" long or significantly longer. I'm not 100% sure what your setup is now but you may be able to use an extra long ball mount like the Hidden Hitch Ball Mount # 80232. This measures 15-3/4" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole with a gross towing weight of 6,000 lbs. You will also need # 63845 for a 2" or # 63847 for a 2-5/16" diameter ball and a reducer sleeve # e26YR.

If you need a different rise/drop to keep your setup level there are some other options out there. Just let me know in the comments below. Another solution would be to use this with a stacked receiver like the Patriot Hitches Drop Hitch Stacked Receivers for 2.5" Hitch # PH55NR which will give you a rise/drop up to 10".
