Question:
How do I know if I should get the 1” throw or the 5/8” throw dead bolt

Hey William, the throw is the length of the deadbolt that travels into the door threshold. So you could measure how deep that hole is on your threshold and you'd be able to tell which would fit best. The part # L32CS3008 is 5/8 inch and the part # L32CS3108 is 1 inch.

Hey William, were you able to measure the depth of the hole in your door threshold to see which deadbolt throw fits best? Knowing which one worked could help others trying to choose between the 5/8-inch and 1-inch options.
