Is There Way to Gain Additional Turning Clearance with B and W Gooseneck

Updated 10/30/2025 | Published 02/10/2025

Question:

I have a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Denali with a turn over gooseneck in the bed and a 40’ fifth wheel camper that has the Reese Goosebox instead of regular fifth wheel. I know I have clearance issues on the top cab corners but is there any combination of gooseneck adapters and goosebox that will give me closer to 90 degree clearance? Thanks in advance.

Hey Adam, the best solution to allow your setup make a tighter turn would be to use an offset ball in the B and W gooseneck you have which would be the part # BWGNXA4085. This will give you an offset of 4 inches which will help a bit. There really isn't anything else out there that would help. How close to 90 degrees are you getting now?

Hey Adam, how did things work out after trying the offset ball with your Sierra and Goosebox setup? Did the extra 4 inches of offset give you the turning clearance you needed? Your update could make it easier for others with similar clearance issues.
