Hi, Im looking for a block heater for a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS 3.0L with the 6B31 engine. Im having trouble determining which style I need and where the frost plug location is. I have included photos of the same engine in hopes you can assist me with this. Thank you, Nathan

Hey Nathan, thanks for the pictures! So for a block heater, I recommend going with the Kat's Heaters Custom Engine Block Heater # KH11412 which is a frost plug style.
As far as where to install it, you'll want to check on the side of the engine block, towards the bottom. The frost plugs might also be found on the back of the engine block between the engine and transmission.
