Question:
Question about the CAM44461. Ive searched the QandA, and have only become more confused, as what you describe and what the customer photos show, are different. Like many, my gen exhaust is under the slide 2 inches past vehicle, slide is 19 inches. I will need an extension, but when I look at the customer photos for the CAM44812, it appears they do not connect. They both have 90 degree angles, and Im just not seeing how this would extend beyond the slide. Would I need to remove the rivets on the CAM44461 and replace with the extension at the 90 degree bend? Sorry Im just not picking this up. Thanks

Hey Rodney, the elbow fitting of the Camco Gen-Turi RV Generator Exhaust System # CAM44461 that you referenced does offer quite a bit of extension to get the exhaust pipe away from the RV. I attached a picture that shows what I mean. But you would need an extension like the part # CAM44872 to get the additional inches needed since your slide out comes out 19 inches. Does that clear things up?

Hey Rodney, did the Gen-Turi extension give you the clearance you needed past your slide? Knowing how it worked out could help others trying to route their generator exhaust the same way.
