Question:
Hi etrailer, I ordered replaced leaf springs, and saw the video warning that the bolts were 9/16 instead of 1/2. One question, one suggestion: Does both the front and the rear slipper end need to be 9/16? I understand this is a change from 1/2, and my opinion a painful one. It is very hard to find mil spec cor corrosion protection, salt water boat trailer 9/16 cap screws, washers, and nuts. Easy to find any size in 1/8 increments, 1/16 increments is hard. I cant find 9/16 cap screws on etrailer.com, are they on here:? If not, shouldnt you carry them. Thanks,

You need to use a 9/16 inch bolt for the front eye of the 3-Leaf Slipper Spring that your referenced part # SP-178275. For that I would recommend the Spring Eye Bolt with Lock Nut part # 166079.
The correct rear hanger is part # 115706S if it's a single axle trailer. Since the spring does not have an eye on the back of it you do not need to match a 9/16 inch bolt to anything.
