What Gooseneck Ball To Use With 2024 Ram 3500 With OEM Puck System

24 ram 3500 oem system. Will this work as most videos show a ball for oem that doesnt have a pin it has tabs on side of ball.

Hey Don, thanks for reaching out. We do have a gooseneck ball that will work with the OEM system in your 2024 Ram 2500, but the Remov-a-Ball Gooseneck Hitch Ball # 5973 you mentioned will not work with that. The # 5973 is only for the Remov-a-Ball model 6300 aftermarket gooseneck hitch.
For the OEM system if your Ram, what you will need is an OEM style ball like the Curt # C60618. This has the latch tab on top of the ball. Or if you want an upgraded option, go with the B&W # BWGNXA2062. This has a locking handle on the side of the ball. This tends to be a lot more durable than the latch-style balls. The latch on top of the ball can get pretty chewed up over time, so the B&W is what I would go with personally. Safety chain loops and a convenient carrying case are included.
