Hey David, thanks for providing that information and for the pictures. I had my contact at Lippert run your SN and your pin box shows to be the 1116 bolt pattern and 19K capacity.

Reese does make a goosebox that replaces the 1116, the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP94716-61301. This model is a 20K capacity or 4,000 lb tongue weight so in order to use this we will need to be sure the GVWR of your camper does not exceed 20K.

If you want to reply below with your campers GVWR I can get back to you. If you need something heavier rated, we do have the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Boxes that can also replace the your Road Armor 1116. Let me know your GVWR or year, make model and floorplan and I will get back to you.

@DavidH Ok gotcha! In that case, the Reese # RP94716-61301 I mentioned above will be correct. If you want to look into the Gen-Y, the # GY48FR is the correct model for your camper. It replaces thr 1116 and is correct for the 14K GVWR. I really like the MORryde pin boxes actually. They use torsion rubber to absorb shock. This will be more durable and requires less maintenance than the air ride Reese alternative. One thing worth noting is the Gen-Y is that adding one can void your frame warranty. Don't let that discourage you from buying one though as I have never heard of a single instance of a Gen-Y pin box causing issues with the frame. In fact, the upgraded pin boxes can be more gentle on the frame than the OEM pin boxes. Let me know what you think. I am here to help :)

@JesseM thank you Jesse, I appreciate all the help. With the Gen-y how do you know the camper is level? I have been watching your videos on the Reese and it looks like you just add or take away air until its level. I also have 6.5 bed is there any concern with turning radius?

@DavidH Good question. Generally you will want to bolt it in the same location as the old pin box but the "wings" have multiple sets of bolt holes so there is a provision for some height adjustment if needed. If you have clearance with the Current Road Armor pin box, that should not change when switching to the Gen-Y. With the 6.5' bed you should be ok with turning clearance but if you want to be 100% sure you can use the following formula: (A + B) - C = Clearance A = Distance from the gooseneck ball center to the truck cab B = Offset used (slider clearance or Sidewinder offset) C = Width of the nose of the trailer divided by 2.
