Can 2005 Acura TSX Roof Rack Use Crossbars Longer Than 50" To Hold Two Kayaks

I have a 2005 Acura TSX and the recommended size according to your site are 50 inches wide. Can I get cross-bars that are wider than that? I know they might extend beyond the sides of my car, but Im hoping to put 2 kayaks on top, both laying down flat and 50 inches wont be wide enough.

Hi Jim; how wide are your canoes? You can add longer crossbars to your 2005 Acura TSX. In general, this is fine as long as they don't extend out beyond the widest point of the vehicle including the mirrors. It looks like the widest point of your TSX is 69" so assuming you want to stick with the Inno rack you can use the Inno Square Crossbars - Steel - Black - 65" Long # INB165. You will also need the # INSUT and # INK785 to complete the roof rack.
