LED Trailer Light for Truck to Help with Visibility in Fog
Updated 01/30/2025 | Published 01/08/2025 >
Question:
Im looking for something similar to this product. I have a 2020 Ford F-150. Im planning to add a Rear fog light in RED. I drive in the California Central Valley Tule fog often and need to make my truck more visible from the rear. My truck has factory LED tail/brake lights. I cant find any specs like lumens to determine if this product is bright enough for my purpose. If you have another style of red light that will be as bright as brake lights or brighter, please let me know. Thanks, Duke

Hey Duke, although I don't have a Lumen rating I can give you for the Peterson Piranha LED light part # M423R-4 I can let you know that it is brighter and would be very visible in fog. If you check out the attached picture you can see how bright it was for us when we tested it in daylight to give you an idea. It'll cut right through that fog for sure.
