What Size Fuse Should be Used with Tekonsha Trailer Wiring Harness for 2015 Acura MDX

Question:
Fuse 2 on 2015 MDX panel stickers shows 20 amp fuse however wiring kit has 10 amp fuse. Was that intentional or should I buy a 20 amp fuse?

Hey Dag, so you would want to run the 10 amp fuse of the Tekonsha trailer wiring harness part # 118628 in your 2015 Acura MDX as that is the fuse size that works best to protect the harness. It would not draw more than 10 amps under normal circumstances which is why going with a higher rated fuse would defeat the purpose.
